I personaly have only been using sups for the past 4 months but they have  helped me to put on a fair amount of mass. I did try prolab vanilla protein shakes but although the results were fine  after a couple of months i could no longer stick the taste. I have found with metrx  the results are  just as good but the product range is a lot wider.the cookie dough bars are a great meal replacement for those twelve hour shifts at work when u cant get the time to sit and eat a proppa protein and carb filled meal
hope my opinion helps

I think it really makes a difference when you find a product that not only works, but tastes great!! I've tried numerous protein powders, by different brands. None have been overly bad, but have found some that don't mix well like Reflex.

I've just started using Isolator by G N Body Fuel, it's wicked..... tastes sooooo good , feels like i'm having a cheat milkshake when i drink it!!! It's also great mixed in with your porridge in the morn.... to top it all of, it mixes really well too. Highly recommended.... all 4 flavours are equally as nice too   yum yum!!

i agree with caz about the isolator. its nice to have a drink that doesn't fill you up so you cant eat your meals later on, so many other shake just make me feel full and bloated, and repeat on you all day, but this one don't  winner!!

I pesonally love supplements. If says it makes you massive on the tub then its in my head that it will!
On a serious note i personally use usn pure protein or pro peptide blended with oats and water (a jay cutler favorite) and drink it! Thats for breaky and whey isolate post workout and miceller casein before bed. These would mostly be used off-season and solids for pre contest.
As a rule i would say get at least half to 3/4's of your daily calorie intake from solids, your body is designed to digest foods.
Did arnold have whey isolate etc in his day! Hell no... Nuff said!

I have used many supplements in the past, differing makes etc, but I have to say that I have used BSN for nearly two weeks now, and I admit its the full range of products from pre workout to post workout to protein to mass gainers, and I have gone from 115 kilo to 119.3 kilo as of this morning.
I am using no other forms of assistance, yet, so I must confess that the gains I have made, condition slightly better than when I started, have both pleased and surprised me. I do feel positive that they work, and work well. I have not tried CNP products but have heard very good reports about them doing similar things to friends of mine. I think that if you use a good quality supplement, along with maintaining a consistant, advised, diet, plus intense training, allowing good recovery time and you combine all these things then growth is the positive by product!
To optimise growth you need to have ALL key components in place.
The supplements today are so good, scientifically devised, and when used properly really do work and do the business.
You just have to ensure you create the correct environment to allow them to do the job they are devised for.

I like promax extreme bit pricey but it is high quality plus it has some good added extra's, When I used this I also used MIT and added a banana a day to my diet ...2 weeks  later and 4 guys in the gym asked me what steroids I was using.... told them the truth None Just the above
