Afternoon,

A good friend of mine, Nick Hobson, entered the over 40's at yesterday's Stars Of Tomorrow show.

He placed second out of about 15 competitors, but had his invite to the British taken back because of his torn quad.

Can anyone who was there enlighten me, as I missed the show?

I talked to Nick this morning but didn't really understand WTF happened.

Steve, I know he's one of your guys how did he look compared the the British a few weeks back?

Thanks

J

he looked great.. apart from the leg!!

i've spoken to ukfbb and they have told me ALL top 2 finishers will be invited to final 2007.

doesnt change fact IN  MY OPINION the show was a shambles and 1 of the worst organised events i've been to in years. made my comments directly to senior ukfbb offcials, they took my comments on board and the 'stars of tmrw' may be run differently next year. watch this space...

Diesel yates should have got 2nd in under 90kg's... That guy who got second should never have got it, the judges were idiots, they weren't even looking half the time.it takes the piss because now he's got an invite and he didn't deserve it.

thanks bam-bam, and i know what your saying, but i think everyone who gets up on stage deserves respect and if he got an invite i wish him well and wish him no ill will.
i'm never one to b**** about placings or judging, thats just bodybuilding, there will be decisions in both amature and pro shows that we don't agree with (branch verses dexter in the arnold!!!) and it will happen to you one day, but we just gotta get back in the gym, be bigger men, get bigger, get better and keep going, show them with your physique and not your mouth, thanks for the support though, you top man

Look out for bambam in future shows guys

Yeah i think you are right Diesel, next year you'll win without question, you've brought a better package and improved every year. Hit the gym hard, eat, sleep, grow, learn from experience and as you say, 'show them with your physique and not your mouth', cuz you physique will speak volumes.

Sorry to hear about your placing Diesel. I wasnt there to see you but im sure your time will come... when the judges start to wear glasses (some judges that is).
Ive been there MANY times before, usually to fault of my own but in other incidents i should of placed higher.
At least you can take it on the chin unlike some cry babies!

LOSING MAKES YOU A BETTER BODYBUILDER AND A BETTER PERSON!

Good luck for future shows!
