Hehe, yes Steve mate - if only I had £50 for every time I heard that! Just for the record Mr. Avery bet me £50 that I was in top 5 - when i told him i didnt make it - he actually gave me £50! Top bloke - gave it him back mind - but he did sort me out
The gym shot was after the brits and i had eaten a considerable amount - but def agree woth intramuscular separation comment.
A back shot for u to look at there pal.......

back def lacking. overpowered by delts and sweep on quads.

do you do a lot of deadlift and rows?

Yep deadlift and barbell are an integral part of my back workout steve....

so stop all that.. not workin for ya!

try trainin your back twice per week,cut back on ALL other bodyparts-say once every 10days.

concentrate on med grip pulldowns in upright position(NO leaning back),reverse grip pulldowns 18" grip,and DB pullovers. lots of stretching between sets.

do this for at least a month,the whole time obsessing about how you never gonna be british champ till you got a british champs back!!

to change the balance of your god given physique is the hardest thing in the world. how many times we seen people wiv great chest-no triceps or massive biceps-no back??

I will say this, a few years ago your arms was a bit babba... now they have more shape and are much fuller so keep doin what your doin for them!

Bam-Bam, thanx man - was it close, lol hmm pity the judges didnt think so!! Anyhow next time i compete I will most prob be doin the heavies so wont be up against flex. I train at 2 gyms. Quirkes gym, and Physical Culture Stocksbridge. Why do u ask mate?
