Hi folks, anyone who's tried both have any comments on which they found more effective?
And the same for Glutamine?

It all depends on how it suits your eating schedule. Monohydrate is best taken with food, ethyl ester HAS to be take away from food on a relatively empty stomach. With the CEE you get the same results taking less - so you dont risk the chance of taking too much and giving yourself a bad stomach. Personally I stick with monohydrate off season - then pre contest when my metabolism is working faster and my stomach is emptying quicker I use CEE. This is what i prefer to do. If you take CEE with food you will diminish its effects.

Hope this helps

Cheers for the reply PJ, you say to take cee on an empty stomach, so would it be ok to take it in my pwo drink?
Also i've heard there is no need to load for 5 days as cee is assimilated easier by the body, is this true and would you still recommend a 4 week on 2 week off cycle.
Thnx in advance.

Abnormal  - I would use CEE immeadiatly PWO - then have your PWO shake about 20 mins after. As for loading with CEE - you dont need to do this, 2 servings of 2-3grams daily is plenty. I have used just about every brand of CEE out there, I would reccomend CNP Pro Creatine E2 or BSN Cell Mass.

Hope this helps

PJ from what you say you only use CEE when you're dieting and your stomach will be empty.
People make it sound like the new generation of creatine. Is this true at all?

It just seems like the same stuff just more expensive.

Kmax - its all creatine, and once stored in your muscle - it all works the same. The absorbtion process of the different creatines is however vastly different. With the cee it is much more efficient at delivering creatine to your muscles, thus you dont need as much, but then again it is more expensive than the monohydrate - so its swings and roundabouts. I personally use the CEE when dieting as I have tried it off season and didnt feel it worked that well for me due to my stomach remaing full most of the time - thats just my preference. The CEE is I feel an awesome product!
