Twice in one day, well if you only trained that muscle group every 7/10 days, dependant on your bodies recovery rate, then maybe not. Its not something I would even contemplate, once a week for each body part, if trained with sufficient intensity, would be enough should you wish to grow.
Fitness training is a totally different ball game, you are not after size in that case, so it depends on what your goals are.
