i ripped my inner bicep tendon bout 7 months ago, went straight 2 a&e where i was told by a nurse that because it was a parsal tear nothing could be done,i later saw a specialist about a different matter and he asked about my bicep,he informed me that i could have had it reattacted no problem but because it was over 2months he wouldn't do it. i then went 2 my gp and explained the situation,he sent me 2 see a specialist and after appointment ,scan, consultation and eventually pre op the specialist changed his mind and said he wasn't happy doing the op as i have full function, and that i had a 60% chance that i wouldn't be able to fully straighten my arm,as i would love to compete 1 day should i take the risk, does any1 no any body who has had the surgury as arule iv'e seen on medical site that you lose 40% strength i can't say if thats true as i have only just started back trianin. if i do dicide to leave it would there be any point in having a go competeing or wil it be looked at as a flaw any advice or opinions PLEASE
