Hey guys Im pretty new to the whole diet and training malarkie (i've sed in previous posts ) But i was wondering if anyone could give me a breakdown of what foods do what, how and when etc.. i.e what do carbs do exactly and why sugars should be avoided at all costs . I am on a very similar diet to what bigkeiko was at 12 weeks out (not exact obv). i eat quite a few sweets during the day also to keep me going is this bad? Since i have been on my diet i have noticed a huge difference in my physique, its just i'd like to learn more about wot my diet is actually doing. I know im a complete noob and i dont pretend otherwise lol Any help at all guys would be fanastic bishbosh
In short - carbohydrates supply energy - these are your bodys PRIMARY source of energy. Protein is used for repair and growth of muscle tissue (amongst other biological functions). Fats help absorb essential fat soluble vitamins, are good your your skin, eyes, joints, central nervous system.
You need to eat a balanced diet consisting of balanced proportions of all three of these macronutrients. The amount and relative portions will correlated to your muscle mass, lifestyle and other factors.

Bish bosh - carbs are not bad for you! What a load of rubbish. The amount that you need to eat can vary tremendously from indibvidual to individual - but EVERYONE neeeds to eat carbs, esp if you are a bodybuilder. Its calories that make you fat - eat too many and you will gain weight, eat too few and you will lose weight - simple!

Haha i wish i were naturally skinny But ill keep scoffing the carbs coz i love em an wanna get hooge lol again guys thanks for the help. Also wot does sugar do?? does tht make you fat? Man do i feel like the lil nooby kid or what lol bishbosh
