Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and looking to loose wieght. If you someone could aid me with an action it would help!

Info:
Age 23,
Weight Approx 294 pounds
Heigh 6ft 5"

Exercise:
2x15 Mins power walk daily.

Daily Cal intake:
1500 (Office job so reduce)

Current Diet:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - Natural Carbs only (fruit and veg only), Thursday and Friday Protien only, Saturday and Sunday normal eating.

Aims:
To loose weight to around  200 pounds is main objective then develop all round body building.

Well that a bit about me and current information.

I'm looking at the Grenade as it have been recommended fat lose but wondering if  I would need to change my diet also would like to develop a body toning plan and once got my weight down start on a more body building style of plan.

firstly mate congrats on wanting to lose weight, you really need to be eating around 6 small meals a day  every day ( protein, low carbs, no salt) to lose weight your calorie intake at the moment is not going to help you lose anything, if you eat the meals as suggested you may first gain a slight increase in weight but it will start to come off, but you need protein and some low carbs every meal, try chicken and rice.

Secondly start lifting light weights 3 times a week, 3 sets of 15 reps per exercise will really help as muscle helps to burn off fat, also if you can, swim twice a week  twice a week this is great for metabolism.

Good luck with the weight loss

I'm currently having 5 meals one about every 2 hours leaving about 5 hours before I sleep? I could slip in another leaving 3 hours before it sleep?

Also with the weights as Its my first time would you say do the 3x15 reps per week for 4 weeks then move in Beginners training routine below? Or wo

With the information doing for 4 weeks
Monday,            3x15 reps
Wednesday,    30 Mins Swim, followed by the 3x15 Reps? Or would you say loose a rep and may do a heavy weight?
Friday,               3x15 reps


As for the weights would you say start off with the lightest for the day and increase to a heavy weight until starting to struggle and knock down as size?
So for example 1kg on Monday, 2kg on Wednesday? 3kg Friday? and say if struggling on Friday on Monday knock down to 2kg, Then Wednesday back to 3kg and keep going up down?

Also would you say one arm at a time with the other resting during the reps? Or both arms together with a few minutes rest?

As for the swimming I used to swim a lot but would a plan like above but with swimming on Tuesday and Thursday be okay or would it be best for the days in between rest break and swim on the Sunday?
