Breaking the top 5 P would be a first for me - so that would be great! What about the other classes?

I also think Shaun Tavernier will do very well in the under 80kg - does anyone know who will be competing in this class?

Wade Stafford (yet to qualify)
Shaun Taverier (yet to qualify but has qualified for first timers finals)
Nathan Selcon (qualified at Leamington)

These will be my top 3 with Wade winning cos I'm prepping him

Top 5 in the light heavies

Paul Jenkins
James Llewellin
James Lewis
Tom Blackman
Darren Nicholhurst

Others that could be are Barney Deplesis, Simon Fan, the guy that came third Dean Leisik (sp),

top 5 in the heavies

Alvin Small
Zack Khan
Dave Titterton
Serge Camerou (sp)
Pat Warner

Other possibilities Eddie Gray, Dave Baker, Stuart Core, Darren Ball

I thought Doug looked good on sunday but will he make the top 5? Probably not. When he comes in true condition he'll lose some of that newly aquired size and will be out muscled (if ever the gauntlet was laid down now is his time to prove me wrong). Interesting to see that he was more conditioned from the back than the front tho.

Probably the one out of all of the weight classes at the qualifier that impressed me the most in regards to where he was 1-2 years ago. Good solid improvements.

James,

I think your predictions wont be far from the truth! LHW wise I think that barny will do well, he came third in 2005, then climbed to 2nd last year and I know hes hungry for it - I think hes competing in the brum qualifier so all will be seen then. There really are so many guys who can make that top 5 - it will be close - but as you know conditioning on the day will be the deciding factor.

Heavy weight wise all of those guys are top 5 material, again conditioning on the day will separate the placings - and if Zack does nail it - from what I have seen he will take the whole show!

Not long now though J, b good to get on stage and battle it out with you! From what I have seen of Tom B - hes gonna b right up there too I feel.

May the best man win.

Hold it down pal.

PJ

Well its the Masters for me, and its a tough class this year. My main goal is to be on stage as I should be, not as I was at the Welsh, and all is going well at the moment, much sharper already with a few weeks to go.

I am not going to worry about who will be there, no point. I'll just make sure I'll be the best I possibly can and see what happens. Having had third in this class in 2003 I really would like to at least match that.

As for you guys, PJ and Mesomorph, you both have very tough classes, but isn't that what you want? To be the best you have to beat the best, and having seen you both I am sure you will do yourselves justice.

Good luck and see you there !!

Agree mate.

Good talking to you the other night. Like I said we are all in this together and like you I look after people who show me respect and kindness as you and lil P do.

Some people however, just cant help themselves

But like everything in life, those who live by the sword, die by the sword

Reaper,

Best of luck my friend. You are of course right, we can only concentrate on us and let the physique do the talking. I'm sure yours will be shouting by 14th Oct

James - yeah its all about mutual respect - we work so hard and its not about being bitchy. I totally agree with reapeer if you want to be the best you have to beat the best - its not about taking the easy route. The victory will be all the more sweeter then.

Reaper - good luck in your for you class - bring your A game, you qualified and did what you had to do now its all about bringing it to the british!

Wingy - the show is on Sunday the 14th October mate - hope to c u there!

Sounds good.

How's things going PJ? Was impressed with barney last week, admittedly he was 93kgs but will be good to see him this weekend too at a lighter bodyweight.

Yeah I'm good mate. Pretty much there now. Another 7 days of cardio and I'll be done by next sat. Then time to rest a little and let the carbs flow in. I am really excited about it now. Time has whizzed by during the last 6 weeks as I have been really busy with work and prepping others for the show on sunday and the finals.

Like you I'm relaxed in the knowledge I will be bringing the best ever Llewellin package to the stage, well that's the plan anyway!!!

Look forward to catching up at the weigh in or before.

Stay cool

J

Re the food thing guys, I live in  South Wales, and I think everyone else is scattered around the UK.

PJ, if you hadn't noticed my friend we ARE FREAKS !!
And I'm proud to be a member of the Bodybuilding freak brigade, because like it or lump it that is how we are percieved by your average Mr and Mrs Joe public.

I'm going for grub after the show, tan or no tan, and I would like to eat in the company of like minded people, which on this site and at the British, I think we mainly are.

So don't be shy and retiring PJ, come out of your shell and indulge, it would be a pleasure to have your company and talk shop after the show, and anyone else who feels like it.

Cheers !

Reaper.

Glad to hear it PJ, freaks unite !! lol

Khan is an awesom bodybuilder, of that there is no doubt, but he will need his A game for sure as the competion this year is VERY intense. Some top class physiques going to be there and they WILL be in condition.
