I have to say that the British this year was outstanding. The quality in depth was fantastic in all classes. I was proud to be a part of the show this year. I didn't make top 5, but I am not disappointed, the guys were all top class.

I had a nasty stomach bug, and still have, since Friday night, so I couldn't get the food in to fill out. No excuses, and not that it would have made any difference to my placing, but I know I could have been fuller. Lucky I used the CNP Pro Recover, four scoops, an hour before I went on, it really helped to fill me out and get a pump I could not have otherwise attained. Felt like sh.t after the judging and had to go back to the hotel to sleep and sh.t ! So no after show meal. in fact no anything except Dioratlyte since Sunday morning. I am sad to say I missed the evenings events, as I really wanted to see the finals.
I was surprised to hear Flex had won class and overall. But I wish him well and I am sure he has a great future ahead.

Well done to all who entered and made a fantastic show, the best gathering of British talent I have ever seen bar none.

Geared.

I watched the judging before going back to the Hotel. You're a flippant little f..ker aren't you ? I am entitled to my opinion, as are you.
Flex looked awesom, and so did James, my preference was for James physique on the day. I couldn't argue about who won, James or Flex, as both were superb and the decission is a subjective one, as are all bodybuilding contests.
As for the overall, you are correct, after looking at the pics Flex did deserve the overall. I watched each class on its own during judging and didn't see the evening comparisons, so I didn't get to see Flex standing next to the heavyweight winner. I was a little awestruck with the sheer size of the monster that won the heavies, but as you say Flex had the upper hand by having such a classic physique that the size factor was eliminated, so I do stand corrected on that issue.

Oh yea, being ill wasn't a joke, as you seem to think. My own fault I concede, eating rice that had been in a container for a few hours longer than it should have, but as I said, no excuses, I was as good as I could have been on the day and got beat by better competitors.

I was in the Masters over 40 class.

Geared,

For your futur reference, I suggest if you disagree with any other members comments/opinions you discuss it in a polite manner. Forums are for people to post opinions - some you may agree with some you may not - but get used to it.

As for Flex he is clearly your friend - hence your post. While he did look great i too had Darren ball taking the overall - and I was sat behind the judges 0 but thats my opinion - and as Reaper said bodybuilding is very subjective.

PEACE

Yes, I did qualify at the Welsh, and I'm the first to admit I was lucky to get through as my condition for that show was not up to par. But I was in shape for the Brits, as I said, I got beat by better guys.

I don't know why you are so aggressive, but hey, thats your problem, not mine.

Flex, by the way, is someone I know and respect and have had numerous chats too, I have no problem with him and I just say it as I see it. If my opinion conflicts with yours that is my perogative. Can't be bothered to have a slanging match, I have better things to do.
