can you gain muscle and lose body fat at the same time or maintain muscle mass while losing body fat i have looked at tons of websites some say you can some say you can't i want to know point blank can you or can't you ? you are the one's that live and breath this stuff
i am new to all this and i love it  just some guides to body shape

i currently weight 17,5lbs i have 30% body fat  height 5ft 7ins
i am natrally big framed muscle wise
(you are gonna hate me lol) but i pack muscle on quite quick and i lose weight quite quick
i want to lose this beer barrel affect from  my gut and love handles

i need to know so i know what plan to follow which is the quickest and best route i am prepare for hard work
nothing in life is easy
i welcome any comments thanks

i wanna be in contest form

You can do both at the same time, but it is difficult. To do this you really need to elevate your metabolism by eating meals regularly and by doing cardio daily.....

I seem to have done it on this diet, I am at the same weight as when i started but a lot leaner, i did go up a few pounds at first but it has come off now, i am hammering cardio too

Yes eat high protein low carbs low fat diet

glutamine, caesin, whey good supps for this

Add to this:- cardio daily first thing in the morning (before food )and last thing at night before bed. These are the best times for the fat burning zone.

Have your carbs meals for breakfast  lunch and after training..brown rice oats  broccoli things like that. After that protein only.

If can do this youll lose fat in no time and add muscle.

I also wanna lose body fat but gain muscle but start work at 4am so dont fancy cardio in morning I always do cardio in afternoon bout 2  would this still benefit me ( I run or use machine like stepper for 1 hour daily)  Would it benefit me to do more before bed or will this be over doing it?

i wouldnt over do it b4 bed as far as i'm awere you can only burn so much fat at once b4 your body starts burning muscle.

Thats wot I was worried bout dont want my body to eat away at my hard work!  Ill stick to watching corrie before bed then
