I'm on a loading phase of creatine monohydrate at the moment, so I'm taking it 4 times a day for the first 5 days, then I will take it twice a day thereafter.
This is what I've been advised: Have your first lot of creatine in the morning first thing. Take your second lot straight after your workout: 15min later have your whey: There are whey protein products on the market that contain creatine too, so it looks like they can be mixed ok. I prefer to keep them seperate, as I only like to use creatine for 4-6 weeks before having a 4-6 week break from it. I also like a protein shake prior to going into the gym because Ive read it speeds up protein synthesis.....
