I currently take 1 Cod Liver Oil capsule but never hear of people taking this.  Should I switch to flax seed oil or are they essentially just as good as one another.  And if so how many?

While its good to supp with omega 3,6,9 oils - these often dont contain fish oils. Fish oils contain omega 3 fatty acids in the form of EPA - most 3,6,9 supps only provide the DHA omega 3 fatty acids. In other words its good to use both - stick with the fish oil caps, or you could try CNP Pro Vital which contains fish oils as well as other fatty acids, its a really good supp.

I think i remember reading some thread by bigkeiko about this - isnt omega 3 the most important, rather than the 6 & 9.... I used to supp daily with a a combined one 3-6-9 sainbury's own brand. Now these are a combination of lindseed oil, sesame oil, rice bran oil, evening primrose oil, and sunflower seed oil.......... Ive stopped using these now and get the sainburys omega 3 fish oils. as they are a straight 1000mg of fish body oil.
This gives the following - 350mg Omega 3, of which EPA 180mg and 120mg of DHA.........
Do you think these are ok ???

Its not a case of them being ok - they supply what they say they supply - which is good - but you still need a balance of 6 and 9 fatty acids too. This is why I prefer CNP Pro Lipid - or you could use both the fish oils and the 3,6,9 caps to get the balance right. To be honest I think its just easier to stick with the Pro Lipid!
