Ive started using protein shakes, & not really knowing much about what are the best to buy, i bought Maximuscle products
However i expect there are probably better & cheaper alternatives
Could anyone recommend what would be good?

Hi mate,

Maximuscle id stay clear from. Another company like muscletech who just spend millions on getting rugbyplayers to hold there stuff.. like a predator football boot..120 pound for a football shoe that should cost you 70% less..

Take a look at :

http://www.british-bodybuilding.co.uk/Syntha6.shtml

BSN produtcs are all top notch and not a bad price .. bit cheaper is :
http://www.british-bodybuilding.co.uk/Whey%20Isolate.shtml

Personally i use BSN/CNP produtcs. There are alot of brands out in the market..two brands to stay clear from is muscletech and maximuscle. you might as well walk up to the guys they pay and give them the money ur self hehe.
