when i do tricep extensions i can feel slight clicking in ellbows and i feels a bit uncomfertable and some times get pins and needles in my right hand have to stop cause it feels like all the blood is draining and ill drop the waight.also my right elbow is a little sore for the rest of the day after. is this normal? cause im a bit worryed ive got some problems in my ellbows.

How old are you? Any other joint problems before? any prev injurys ? Do you stretch and use a warm up set first?

Like being in the army with 101 questions..answer those m8e and ill try help ya..also give us a general background to your diet/workout

ok im 24 in may. my workout days veary cause im a ladscaper and try to fit it in around work but if i havnt got work for a while i try to do mondays chest and back , tues rest, weds legs, thurs rest, fri biceps and triceps, sat sun rest i stretch after workouts and do some warm ups before not with weight just body movments. i havnt got a stricked diet just eat normal 3-4 meals a day. i got a traped nerv in my left side of trap and my left shoulders got some probs too clicking and feels like its poping in and out of the joint some times but no pain but ive asked about this before on this site someone said i should see a phiso (not sure how u spell it).  hope that helps

oh and before people start telling me i should eat more i did when i was first starting out but cause i got big quickly i got stretch marks on my legs and one of my shoulders so i would rather get big slowly. and i have gone from 11 stone to 13 i was 14 stone but the extra stone was on my legs i looked silly lol so i lost it

Do you do a warmup set before each exercise? If im doing say 4 sets of chest press..im really doing 5 because ill lift a light weight to warmup.

And with stretching when you stretch your tricep by putting ur hand behind ur head touching the oppostie shoulder you can do that with very light weight to stretch it out..

You could look into getting some joint support supplements and also make sure ur keeping your joints moving in full stretches.. but working in healthcare myself and recived physio my self from injurys..id look into seeing one. i pulled a muscle fibre and stook with the pain for 3 weeks.. saw a physio and he sorted it within 2 sessions

no i dont use weights for warm ups and i do them before all my exercises but ill try it ur way and see if it helps. and i take fish oils (not cod liver) but i think ill try the other good one gloco something. do phyiso cost much money? thanks for ur time.

p.s how many reps is good for warm up?

Physio's hmm ill ask my friend.. i work in the NHS so i get through for occy health.. brb with that one!

If you for example stretch a muscle..hold it for say 15 secconds in that postion..get some good movments in your joints..

Another example..for legs before squats ill do leg extensions without any weight on just to get the knee movment in..

If you try the weighed try that after you stretched out then say 15-20 reps.
If you dont do exercise much or havnt in a while your joints will click but as you've been at it for a while hmm if the stretching dont work..a physio will sort it 100%. and ill find some prices on that when i phone her up..

think i might have found out whats going wrong. i was doing the extensions with my elbow pointing out in front of me and i just saw some sites that tell u to do it with ur elbow to the side. witch is the right way?
