i think the most important thing about diets is that its veried. i have seen alot of peoples diets they have posted and it seems thay eat the same stuff everyday. e.g dont just have chicken twice a day have some chicken once a day cause it is very good for u but then have some differnt meat as well. also i think some people eat far to much tuna this is bad cause tuna has alot of mercury in it.

Bigben is this just a statement or are you wanting replies? As for Tuna - I think you are talking about SOME forms of canned tuna - not ALL tuna.

Sounds like an old wifes tale mate - first off depends on the diet of a tuna - whether it has been farmed or from an ocean and then what part of the world it has been caught from. Think you have been seriosly mislead here.

Bigben these bold statements need to be backed up with something, a link to some evidence, or the source of your info. Sure I have heard people say tuna and mercury before but I have also heard them say Elvis lives.

If you feel you have something to contribute great, but if you are just quoting billy down the pub forget it you just make yourself look as silly as him.

This is a link to check how much mercury you are eating.  I've just clicked in my weight and estimated that I would eat one pound a week (I'll never get near that! ) and according to the US Governments guidelines, I'm well within its recommendations.

Ben, don't worry, people on this forum don't get annoyed. It's the most helpful one I've been on. Other BB forums seemed to be full of sarcastic people who didn't undertstand why a newby like me was asking questions.

2 be honest im a fussy eater i cant stand fish of any kind so my main sources of protein mainly come from chicken and turkey,i read about a bodybuilder in flex magazine who also didnt like a lot of foods so he had almost everything with chicken every day,veg with chicken, pasta wit chicken etc etc as long as you eating clean i dont think u have to vary your diet at all,if u wanna eat tuna all day do it but i doubt your partner will thank u for it
