For the first 4 or 5 months i was doing full body workouts to get used to doing the training, since then ive been using then push pull system much like the one thats sampled at the top, shall i carry on doing this? its been effective but i reckon i should shock my muscles and mess it up a bit? any ideas?
If i get bored or stick , One thing i do is totally reverse the workout every so often, you get a damm good shock then, such as blasted legs with curls, ext, hacks then squats which i would usually do first. A killer.
im struggling a lil to keep track of what im lifting, i was thinking of taking to the gym a training log and pen so i can record what im lifting but i reckon id look a bit of a tool carryin it round the gym with me lol...

Right this one i disagree with. Why would you be bothered what other people think in the gym ????? I do five days training at the gym there is no way i would remember, 1 - what exercise i was supposed to be doing or 2-what weight i was supposed to be lifting.
I go in the gym with my cards and a pencil, (the pencil is so that i can rub what weight im lifting when i can change it up. Its great for seeing progress with your weights lifted.
i dunno really i always care about what people think(its one of my downfalls)...not long joined this new gym and trying to make a good impression..didnt want em thinkin i was a plank but i guess thats just being stupid...after all im there to train my arse off(which i do im just gettin confused over the weight im lifting)...not make friends haha such a cheesey comment but o so true..
ill take one from now on defo...be cool to look back on in say 6 months time and see what i used to lift anyway and how much progress ive made!
I always have a book with me when i go to the gym. Even the owner does..never see him without it when he trains.
Its the 100% way to record what u doing so u can try improve next time. f*** what any one else thinks. when u lifting some big a** weight they looking at u lifitng..not ur book
I must confess thats one of the benefits of the computerised system at our gym. All exercises, weights etc are recorded on the central computer from the moment the user started, even going back 2 years in the case of our place. They can even be acessed from your home on the PC.
