Be aware that spot reduction of fat is not possible. Your bodies natural fat store is around your middle. When you lose fat the body does so by taking it from the outside in, what I mean by that is it takes fat off the extremities first. So you'll lose fat from your limbs first, then your shoulders and torso and finally your middle! Aim to consume around 1 to 1.5 grm protein and 1 grm of carbs per pound of bodyweight per day, if you are not bodybuilding then 1 grm per pound of bodyweight of protein will surfice. This is approximate, not a religous "must do" ! Go on how you feel too, if you feel totally knackered up your carbs a little, if you feel full don't carry on eating....! Use salmon or any oily fish at least once per day for your essential fats. Keep your carbs coming from Sweet potato, baked potato, rice, pasta and even a little bread won't hurt. Take in as much veg' as you want, ditto salad, keep fruit to two or three pieces per day. Basically you need to ingest less calories than your body needs to maintain its current weight. Split your meals into 6 even calorie servings and eat throughout the day. DO NOT have a larger meal in the evening. C.V is best done first thing in the morning before you eat anything, have a strong coffee before hand as it aids energy and alertness.
