hi all, i'm 19 years old and have been training at gordon pasquills gym in chorley which is awesome, however i amstarting uni at sheffield in september, just wondering if there's any decent hardcore gyms within walking distance? i checked out the one featured on here but its 15 miles away where i obviously can't get to!
comments would be appreciated.

There won't be any harcore gyms in the city centre, the rent is too high.
There is a good bus service to Quirkes gym (20 mins journey). The other gym you mentioned is Physical Culture in Stocksbridge, which is like a non-profit bodybuilders club - £120 a yr (or £100 in advance) they have more competing bodybuilders there, but the bus service is not so good (40mins) and less often.
