Hi there

decided to clean up my eating and bulk up but have always struggled to gain weight. I'm 14stone and having six meals a day (this includes protein drinks) and have been doing this for a month now and only put on a pound, I do no more than twenty minutes cardio per session.  The trouble is I'm going to the toilet four or five times aday so thinking this could be reason i'm not putting the weight on, is this normal? sorry its not the nicest subject.

where is the carbs and veg? take a look at a few other diets mate on the boards...your diet is very similar to what mine was when i first come on here and since taking some advice off the guys here im well on my way now...id say its your diet full of protein and no carbs why youve only put on a pound.

cut down on your training and cardio and i recon you will grow, i know you love training and could train all day but if its affecting your goals i would re evaluate it

cheers guys.  After trawling through some past posts I can see I'm lacking carbs so with my chicken breasts I'm going to include rice and veg. I think I've got obsessed with the whole protein thing and lost the plot with carbs as dont want to put fat on but I suppose a little is inevitable.  Training seems easy to work out and change about but the diet thing is hard work and just as important.
cheers for your help and I'll let you know if I can turn it round.
