Recently have been finding that when i do cv my shins start to tighten up to the point i pretty much have to stop running,i have put on around halve a stone in wieght in two months so not a massive gain in wieght and also do train my legs(i pretty much do the intermediate routine posted via bk).
Im worried it could be the supplements im taking= Creatine,Animal Stack and Protien thinking it is likely the Creatine?.I know it would be good to take it easy on the running but due to my job (Royal Engineer) its a must,just asking if there is anything i can take or do to stop this? Cheers

This could be shin splints where the muscle behind the shin swells up and pushes on the bone i have had this when boxing doing road work and it hurts like a good un,i replaced the running with stationary bike and if i did run i did it on soft ground to minimise the impact,see if you can get to see a physio and have some treatment if it is shin splints that is.The reason it started with me was i was boxing at 10 stone then left and train with weights for few years came back to boxing wieghing 14 stone not so good for my shins lol as i never ran while bodybuilding.
