This will be my timetable for the Anavar cycle with its supps when I start it.  I’d appreciate if you have any comments.
Morning:
1 x Anavar 10mgs
1 x Finasteride for prostate protection
2 x Saw palmetto  for prostate protection (350 mgs per tablet)
1 x Green Tea
2 x Milk Thistle  for liver protection (175mgs per tab)

Noon:
1 x Anavar 10mgs
2 x Milk Thistle (175mgs per tab)

Evening
1 x Anavar 10mgs
2 x Saw palmetto (350 mgs per tablet)
2 x Milk Thistle (175mgs per tab)

Night
1 x Anavar 10mgs
2 x Milk Thistle (175mgs per tab)


Daily total
Anavar = 40mgs
Saw palmetto = 1400mgs
Milk Thistle = 1400mgs
Finasteride 5mgs.

I also take creatine plus beta+analine and glutamine pre and post WOs as well as protein drinks.
The diet will be strictly balanced carbs and protein with no cheats for the duration of the cycle which will last 4 weeks. followed by 2 weeks PCT with Novladex
WOs will be alternate days with each consisting of 45 - 60 minutes weights and 30 minutes treadmill cardio.

all looks pretty good jon.  Only thing i would say is 4 weeks long enough to see results at 40mg a day, but everyone's body reacts diff to different steroids and as this will be your first cycle, lets hope you get the results you want.

I'll see how it goes Matty. I don't expect great gains with Anavar, but if there no sides then I may well extend the duration. Its a case of dipping my toe in the water before a swim!

i dont think you will get any size gains jon, but you should get a gain in strength, good luck with it mate

Well the stuff arrived this morning and this is the start of what I hope will be a daily (more or less) journal. It was ordered on May 22nd.
These pics show how small the pill actually is. The good bit is that I can dissolve it under my tongue in about 10 minutes.  This means that it can more or less be absorbed into the blood stream so missing that first pass into the liver.
This compares the size with a pound coin.

BTW I was taking beat-analine, but the tingling side effects annoyed me, so I'm back to creatine on its own.

I'll post my physical measurements as a base from which to start later today. I don't expect to gain in size but will just wait and see. That way I won't be disappointed if I shrink.

Here is the base I will be working from. My current statistics.
Chest = 46 inches
Waist = 40 inches (Damn lurve handles won't go away!)
Biceps - 15.5 inches
Weight = 95 kilo or 15 stone.1 pound.
Height = 5 feet 6 inches
Age = 70 years.

Maximum Weights to day
Cross over = 55 kilos (121 pounds)
Biceps (Preacher) = 30 kilos (66 pounds)
Chest press = 40 kilos (88 pounds)
Wide arm row = 90 kilos (198 pounds)

Eating a very clean diet, supplied by PJ, which I will stick to during the cycle.
Drinking about 4 litres of water.
Have been unable to do cardio as my right knee has some problem. WOs last 30-45 minutes, generally to failure.

Jon weight gains on anavar will small, 40 mgs a day is a usual dose for many, you will notice a change in your body shape though
depending on diet and training. I am experiencing that at the moment on 40 mgs ed for 8 weeks 6th week in and guys down the
local (when i go for 5 diet cokes) are giving me all mess about muscles and meatheads. So its changing my shape i am loosing fat
but still eating 500 cals or so more than required.

You should notice a gain in strength and surpass you pb's in most lifts, dong go mad and F%%k you hammy up again.

Take 50mgs daily - all at once, at the same time each day - preferably with the meal you eat before your workout.

I would use Liv 52 over milk thistle - its way better.

Add some evening primrose oil caps and cod liver oil caps too, a couple of grams of each daily will be bang on. Anavar really isnt that toxic so you should be ok.

Personally I would recommend you using around 400mg of test prop a week over anything else. If you were ok with that, which im sure you would be - you could then try using a longer acting test.

Day 1.Tuesday
It wasn’t worth writing anything about today.  Anyway I have been taking the 40 milligrams spread over the whole day, 1 at 8am. 1 noon, 1at 6pm and 1 at night My WO was pretty appalling.  I have no energy and my knee, the anterior cruciate ligament, is giving me problems so I couldn’t do cardio.
Now I didn’t know this:- Upon birth, a baby will not have a conventional knee cap, but a growth formed of cartilage. In human females this turns to a normal bone knee cap by the age of 3, in males the age of 5.

Day 2.  Wednesday
I’ve packed up taking the beta-alanine amino acid powder which I was mixing with creatine. I couldn’t stand the sides which were a prolonged “tingling” in my face and hands lasting up to an hour.
WO today was normal with my Personal bests still the same.
Blood pressure check at 6pm was 128/70 and pulse 67
My normal pulse at rest is often below 60

Day 3. Today Thursday was a rest day.
On advice from PJ I took all 5 pills of the Anavar  at the same time.
My other supps are at the times I’ve posted above spread throughout the day.
This is the first time I’ve had DOMS across my shoulders, no doubt due to the effort I put into the “cross over” trying to increase my PB on my deltoids from 55 kilos yesterday. I find that my appetite is decreasing. I’m gonna have to almost force myself to eat. Had plenty of water to drink plus protein drinks.
Blood pressure check at 6pm was 125/67  pulse 63.
Both are  well within the normal ranges for me.
Diet is on target;  weight unchanged.

Day 4. Friday

Took all the pills at the same time during breakfast which was oats, coffee and a piece of toast. My one worry is enlargement of the prostate but so far Im able to pee as usual.  Anavar  half-life efficiency is 8 hours so the 50 mgrams I am taking will decrease to 25 mgrams within that time, therefore it will be better to get the WO in that timebase.  I’ve had no sides at all that I noticed. I don’t need to bulk as Im pretty stocky anyway. (Well Im certainly pretty )
Had a very strenuous WO today within the half-life time of Anavar  but didn’t notice any particular gains in strength, but there again I don’t know when Anavar  klicks in; still, I’m patient, I’ve got 3 weeks left and if necessary I’ll add a couple more.
Took blood pressure and pulse IMMEDIATELY after WO and it was 137/70 and pulse 71 and I was still sweating despite no cardio to rest my knee. Appetite still down. Protein drink immediately after WO. Creatine before and after.
Triceps aching after WO.
All WOs are taken to the point where my groans of pain are loud enough to disturb the other gym users.

One peace of advice Jon - forget that you are taking it and just get on with things - that way you will notice its effects better. You are constantly analysing and looking for changes, just be patient - you really wont gain that much of that dose and it will take a few weeks for you to notice any results even though it is a fast acting oral.

agreed, amny think miracles are going to happen. Still the first time i went on a long acting ester because of  the mental affect
of knowing its in you the weights went up in the gym the next day, even though it takes two odd weeks to really start working.
You could inject half the knobs with vit c and will have the same affect.

I'm not only patient , but sceptical. Although after researching SB w, and having a really detailed look at the monogram on the tabs, they seem legit, I won't accept they are real until things start happening.  Anyway what are you views, guys, on stacking anavar with D-bol?  Research seem to indicate that this is OK.

agreed, I had to take anavar for quite a while in higher doses than you are jon before i noticed anything from it, its better nto use it with test in my opinion but if i were you i would sack the anavar and use some IM test, you wont need much mate, 250mg per week will do you

Day 5. Saturday
Rest day; took all the pills as required. I manage to dissolve the 5 anavar  under the tongue, This is supposed to enter the blood stream without making the first pass through the liver and so there is less loss of the steroid. The same procedure which doctors recommend to heart patients who take nitro-glycerine tablets.
No sides.

Day 6, Sunday.
Normal WOs. After that  I’ve got DOMS across the shoulders where I’ve been exercising  the deltoids etc.
No sides apart from my appetite increasing! Almost starving from 7pm onwards, so took some wheat cereal.

Day 7. Monday
Rest day

Day 8 Tuesday
No change. Usual WO.

Day 9 Wednesday
No changes even after a strenuous WO which left my biceps and tris burning! Certainly no change to libido!
I’ve noticed that my weight has increased by 5 pounds no doubt due to being unable to do cardio because of cruciate ligament problems in right knee. I’ll need to drop the carbs a bit.
Blood pressure 130/66 pulse 64.

Day 10 Thursday
Rest day. No change, but weight has increased another pound . And that’s not welcome. Now at 15 stone 8 pounds.  I don’t think this is water as I “stole” a diuretic pill from my wife, but that didn’t increase the amount I pee!
Definitely have to drop carbs. I don’t want to try cardio as it may well damage that ligament more.
I might as well finish this cycle to see if ANYTHING happens. If not then it's emails to the suppliers plus the site he sponsors.

Day 11. Friday
After a strenuous WO which left my bis and tris burning. Anyway decided to try and do something about that weight increase so started cardio on the exercise bikes. Last time I was on a bike was many years ago and it was my Honda 650!  After 15 minutes I had to stop. Got off the bike and OMG! My legs were so numb.  I couldn’t walk and had to hang onto the bike until I got my legs under control. After WO I noticed a muscular ache in the small of my back. A side effect I wonder?
Still eating very clean.
BP 130/73 pulse 59

Day 12 Saturday.
Today is a rest day; woke up with shoulders aching after yesterdays WO.
Now, your advice please guys!  
For months my weight has been a constant 15 stone following a diet plan supplied by PJ. Which is great!
Now I find that using this gear I have put on 8 pounds in 12 days, and it seems to have gone around my waist which has increased by 2 inches.  I am now an unhappy 15 stone 9 pounds.
Question 1. Have I been sent D-Bol, a bulking steroid instead of anavar?
Question 2. Can I lose this extra weight after the cycle?
When this cycle is finished I'm gonna do a  thorough detox.

WO wasn't very good at all today, but strength seemed a little up and I think the stuff is genuine as I'm starting to get backaches!

Fine no problems at all, Jon this stuff is mild as are the affects, you will not notice a great difference if you have a high bodyfat percentage.
Strength should have increased for you by now if training properly which you seem to be. E mailing suppliers is like pissing into the wind. I              fortunatly have a very good supplier  so know all is legit. I am only using this to get back in into training and dieting properly and to regain some   strength especially after injuring my knee. I and other have seen a difference and i have added three more holes on my belt so the waist fat is coming off and strength increased to where i was at a natural peak. I will revert to a power style / power building programme to keep up the strength
gained and to increase muscle mass without over training as the whole programm is set out, reps, weights, sets this type of training has paid dividens before (for me anyway) takes the thinking out of it and has great variations in sets and reps never giving your body a chance to get used to it.
I am now off anyway.

OK, ended the cycle this week after 28 days. To be honest I didn't expect a lot and didn't achieve a lot!  
The cycle was handicapped by me getting a cruciate ligament problem in right knee; its not an injury as such but has been nagging me for some time and for the last 2 weeks of the cycle it stopped me doing cardio as its much worse.  I couldn't do the treadmill or biking, with the result that I put on 12 pounds in weight.  That was NOT good for me. So for the past week I've dropped the carbs and so far lost 5 of those excess pounds.
During the cycle after about 15 days I noticed that my muscles were certainly much harder, but no increase in strength or size. I got no "burn" when doing WOs, which I was told to expect. What I did notice the day after I stopped taking Anavar, was that my nipples were tender and rather enlarged!  This I did not expect as my researchs said that there was very little aromatize (sp) with this steroid. However I've got my Novladex for PCT. This has certainly been effective.
I got absolutley NO side effects; in fact my libido increased! I had only very slight back pains which could well have been due to my intensive WOs.
Finally as stated in a thread above; I contacted the supplier stating that the stuff was not doing any good and after a few emails he agreed to knock the price of it off the next consignment of whatever I may purchase from him.
To conclude, I don't think I did anavar true justice as I had to change my training and diet considerably due to the knee problem.  Got my doctors appointment Tomorrow to see about that.
I'm doing a de-tox this week. Only water and pure clean honest food. Also taking a few days off WOs. so I can start from scratch.

The knee x-ray shows no bone abnormalities such as arthritis so I have been booked into the physio to see what she can do.  Back to the gym today for the first time in 20 days an BOY! have I lost strength and stamina. The reason for the break was that the doc told me to not put any undue weight on the knee but gave the all-clear when the x-ray result as in.  It feels like I'm starting all over again!
