Hi all.

where I'm at...

I suppose I'm looking for a bit of a fresh angle on motivation and thought I'd join in on a decent forum. This place any good?

I've been training for about 12 years fairly seriously and steadily almost entirely clean - done a couple of poorly thought out cycles 5 or 6 years ago due to lack of knowledge but not really bothered since.

I enjoy my training and nutrition but as I'm 41 now and my natural minerals are tapering off, I have decided I'll be looking at some kind of anabolic edge soon to get some advancement in my shape. I seem to have been treading water for a few years.

I'm 15 1/2 stone, bit of spare fat but all the basics are there. 5' 10"

Over the years I've been everywhere between 12.5 stone and 17 st 4 lb at my biggest.

The trouble is now - getting the fat off seems to be getting harder! I may have to try some clen or something.

Anyone else in my boat? What helped?

Anyway, hello

I'll dig some pics off the pc over the years..

Cardio..... I'm not a massive fan it has to be said - I'm never sure just where it goes from fat burning to catabolism of muscle but I'm not a complete stranger to a Life Cycle.

Diet, high in real food protein (tuna, chicken, steak etc), plenty of veg and try to keep the carbs complex and medium in intake. I have Protein Bars as they don't make me yak like shakes (but have them too occasionally)

Obviously my diet cleans up and goes off a bit as training intensity and purpose changes but generally it is fairly decent. I do eat more mess food if I'm working away (in hotels, airports etc) and I have the odd beer or glass of wine when relaxing.

Supps - I take vitamins, Tribulus on and off, Saw Palmetto on and off - Ceatine now and then and over the years I've tried all sorts of Pro Hormones and Amino's with varying success.

Bodybuilding is a long term lifestyle for me, I'm never going to show now but it's still a passion of mine.

Sounds like you know your stuff my friend. There is no magic bullet I am afraid. There are the usual routes, Clen, t5,
hgh if you have the funds. Grenades sold by PJ on this site I have heard are very good, and there are numerous other fat burners on the market as you probably know. Its all about diet to be honest, thats the crux. All the accelerants
are an aside, essentially they push things along more quickly but if the basic aren't in place already then the fat won't go as you want it to.

Unless you want surgery then it takes a bit of thought, planning and will power. If you have these then its possible, if not theres always weight watchers !!

Seriously though, it does get harder as you get older, I know ! So it takes that bit more work and effort. You get out what you put in, can't state it any simpler than that.

Anyway, welcome to the site, hope you find it useful. It is probably worth you scouting through some of the old posts on here are there are quite a few regarding diets, what to do and what not to do.
Most are considered, well thought out posts from guys who have been there and done it.

Good luck.
