Hi people. Been back training for couple months now. Had some problems with dislocating shoulders in the past.surgery has done me proud...all fixed.using whey isolate,eating like a horse and training real hard.getting my strength back up now n would appreciate any advice anyone may have on supplements for my joints.nervous about the strain i may be putting them under.thought about basic glucosamine sulphate but looked at pro-tech,which contains collagen.any views?real life opinions mean more than a salesmans pitch!

Definitely use Glucosamine. It comes in tablet form. Doctors prescribe this for joint problems. Don't expect immediate results though as it is suggested that it takes 10 - 12 weeks for it to have effect.  Also take Omega 3 (fish oil) tablets. In addition make sure that your diet contains a regular intake of oily fish, mackerel, salmon etc etc.

ive been taking reflex omega 3 capsules 3 times a day and they are pretty good. Also drinking plenty of water helps protect the joints and ive been told taking a mineral supplement is really good. hope that helps

Thanx jon,Thanx moonshine. Your advice does help, at least points me in the right direction. Too many supplements 2 choose from. Too many people say theres is the best product. Good 2 know from real people what really works. Cant argue with tried n tested. Im on it...gettin stronger every week...smashin it now. All the best gents.

yeah munksy, you will probably have noticed how big the market is, everyone is out there trying to get your money, despite how s**t there products are. You cant go wrong on this forum. most things can be looked up in past posts, has helped me a treat.
