I would of thought its down to the indivdual mate to be honest!
I have a rather nasty flu at the mo but i still set a personal best in my squat yesterday even though i was coughing my lungs up lol!

I had the mumps last year which is a strange feeling. when i went to the docs he told me not to train with aanything like that including colds. he said that as your body needs to fight it, rest is best. training just prolongs recovery because all the nutrients go to repairing muscle tissue and not fight the virus and damn it he was right!

it is best to rest i agree but then im on cycle at the mo so would rather not!

hey ricky if ya on cycle with test you can get flu like symptoms from unstable test levels.

I trained with test flu

I've read that you shouldn't train with a cold but if it's not a bad one I do. I figure if my body can't cope with a gym sesh' - it won't feel like letting me go

let the body recover is whats best.  just seems to make the cold last longe rby training. i still try to train even if i have got cold. cant help myself

lol tara u cant sweat a flue out its an old wifes tale. u need to rest so ur imune system recovers. training weakens your imune syteme so makes your bug even worse

I do the same, even if the doc tells me not to! i'll always go to the gym to see how hard i can push myself. but you know when you cant
