Hi all new to this site and just looking for some advice from you guys. I want to get big, really big at the moment I am 32 years old, 16 stone, I go to the gym 6-7 times a week on a 3 routine split Chest&Tri's - Biceps&Back - Shoulders&Legs in that order. My workouts last approx 1 hour each, and I do 3 sets of 10 increasing in weight in each set until on the 3rd set when I may only be able to push out 8 or 9 reps. I take Creatine Monohydrate before and after the gym and take 3 protein drinks a day and try and keep to a protein rich diet with approx 4 or 5 meals a day. I do skip breakfast because of work and do not eat until 4 hours after I get up in the morning, but do have a protein shake first thing. I only do Cardio once a week for approx 45 mins, I do have a bit of a belly that I would like to get rid of. I have been going to the gym for approx 6 months and after some good gains at the beginning I seem to have hit a wall, I have in the past couple of weeks re-arranged my
routine detailed above to get the body going again. here are my main questions.

1. Is there anything else I can do to get bigger ?
2. If I want to get rid of my belly, will me increasing my cardio eat my muscles as well as fat ?
3. Is the 6 days a week up the gym overtraining and not giving my muscles time to grow ?
4. Are my routines the correct split, and in the correct order so muscles get a chance to recover ?

Any help would be great, if you need anymore details just ask.

far to much work mate. train with weights monday, weds and friday. you can do cardio on tuesday and thurs. maybe have the weekend rest or do some cardio if your looknig to lose fat. train for no longer than an hour should be enougth to fit in all your exercises. i normally do 5 sets or 5reps for puting on strength and the size comes with that. eg if your doing bp. 1 set 60k, 1set 80k, 3 sets of 100k that way i your warming the muscle up and then 3 sets with your working weight with final rep normally a struggle. do chest on monday. legs on weds. back on friday. bp, dlifts and squat. thats the main thing to make you grow as a beginer

Gym @ 4:30pm - 5:45pm
Creatine Capsule @ 5:50pm
Protein Drink @ 6pm
Fish and Jacket Potatoe @ 6:30pm
Tuna Sandwich @ 8:30pm
Protein Drink @10pm

I realise I need to do a lot more cardio so from tomorrow I am going to go to the gym 5 times a week to do a 20 minute fat burning run at approx 8km per hour.

As you can see I have the dedication and desire to build a great body but need a bit of direction. Any help anyone could give me would be brilliant. Thanks in advance.

theres no rest inbeetween training days. thats ok if your taking steroids but when your a natural your body wont respond to that sort of training as well. its overtraining. i trained 8 years naturally and tried them all. best results i got was 3 days a week. mon. weds. friday. now that i take gear i can train monday to friday then have weekend rest. but if i had done that when natural i wouldnt have made much progress with gains etc. alos more training normaly means less agins in terms of exersises. concentrate on bench press, squats and deadlifts if you can. they build a good trunk and the little things like biceps and triceps will grow with it

i have to totally agree with james. your body only grows when you rest. im natural and i do a 3 day split. at the moment im doing chest/tri's, back/bi's and shoulders/legs. i do cardio after every workout and im working wonders. i was recomended the BSN mass stack and its the best stack i have ever used. i got asked if i was on the roids the other day and me being natural, it was an unbelievable feeling!!!!
