Glucosamine Sulphate and fish oils, cod liver oil, tend to ease the pain.

Since I have been using Glucosamine my elbow problems are far less intrusive.

I don't like using a belt nor supports etc, I think they enable you to train on an injury, and eventually make it worse.
Its just my take on it but if you are injured you need to feel where the injury is, and to what limits you can take it. I also believe you slow down the healing process by strapping up.

Agree with reaper - pain is there to warn you. Be smart and work around the problem until it has healed. You should definatley implement fish oil/glucasamin/chondroitin from any joint pain.

Hi Phelim,

Does your pain only occur when you raise your arms or does it come on with any tricep workout?

The reason I ask it that occasionally you can have a condition called 'adverse neural tension', this occurs when you put a nerve on tension and it can be trapped by an interface of connective tissue. Around the olecranon (tip of the elbow - funny bone area) you have one of these areas and sometimes the ulna nerve can get trapped - you'll feel it if you raise your arm and extend your elbow. A simple test is to make a circle with your thumb and index finger and then reverse your hand and place it to your eye like you were doing a dame edna or biggles impression - seriously I'm not taking the p**s! let me know.  :)
