Hi there, i'm trying to distinguish the best method of obtaining suitable amounts of energy to carry out an intense workout. Would you recommend a pre workout supplement such as BNS - No-Explode or will a good quality creatine do the trick? Thanks

Creatine is best taken before breakfast on non-training days and training days post-workout.
The key is to take it whilst your glycogen levels are at the lowest point and these are the best times for this.

Creatine (whatever form) is actually in your blood stream for around 2 weeks so even if you miss one day of taking it, ATP main the source of energy stored within the muscle cell will still be elevated.

Most seem to be misguided when taking creatine supplements and take it before training hoping for an extra boost, this will be more of psychological feeling if you think this will work as a quick fix pre-workout boost. So best times to take it are definitely as mentioned above.

Creatine DOES work very well and at present is seen in many forms and is still considered the best selling natural form of energy boosting supplementation.
