Cardio is a MUST! Too many people are under the impression that by starting a diet to lose body fat you have to cut calories. Cutting calories is a stimulus to lses "weight" both fat and muscle. Cardio is a stumulus to burn fat. Cardio also elevates your metabolism which means you can build muscle and burn fat faster. In short dont cut cals - increase cardio when you are running 2 cardio sessions daily at around 50 mins and feel you have plateaud - then time to manipulate cals.

i agree with PJ on this one, cardio is one of the biggest factors - that and carb manipulation, eg no carbs in last meal of day. 3 sessions a week should be a good starting point to see how your body reacts, everyone's different after all. make sure your still getting in your 6 meals and enough protein though!
