Hi all im new to this site but ive been looking through and all you guys seem pritty clued up so if you dont mind im gunna use all you guys for you knowledge in the world of body building.
abit of background about myself im 22 started getting into bodybuilding when i was 20 was going strong at the weights for a year then i had a son and ive let myself go for a year.
   now im getting back into it im hitting it hard and this time i aint letting anything stop me and id like your help.
    like i said im 22 im 5'11" weigh 15.9 stone an 23% body fat (i did say i let myself go)
My current diet is

Meal 1
100g of oats
1 banana
2 scoops of protein

Meal 2
200g chicken breast
cup of brown rice

Meal 3
2 scoops of protein
apple

Meal 4
Steak and Veg

and a protein shake before and after a workout.


Now for my workout

Day 1
Chest + Triceps

Day 2
Back

Day 3
Shoulders + Biceps

Day 4
cardio and core body work

Day 5
Legs

i have the weekend off

all advice would be great and all took on board.

ill be posting some pics on hopefully 2moz or wednesday if i can build up the guts and you can have a good laugh and rip me to shreds and then it will give me something to work towards.

i would include some more cardio in that mate, prob 20-30 mins after each workout, that will help get your fat levels down

hello Danny. you saying having your son put you of track scares the poop out of me as we had our 20 week scan today! were having a little girl. so happy. i little dissapointed she will never play 2nd row for england but i'll just have to settle for an olympic gold medealest swimmer!! ;)

i just hope i still have the nrg to train??????

any way welcome doode. and get them pics up. there are a few slackers who are yet to get theres up!

dont need courage mate. its a start point. no one exspects you to be a british ranked body builder!

i know mate im sorry! my mrs aint to keen about me putting pics up on the net so ive got to be a bit stealthy about it, just gotta try and get her ou the house, or to bed early! im workin today so crnt get them on but think im gunna send her shopping tomoz so i get a chance to upload them..... but i think it might hurt my wallet. :D

i know ive told her she dont need to be worried as its men looking didnt explain it too well and she looked at me kinda funny   ;D   but ill be getting them on 2moz afternoon as shes out shoping!!! :)

If you save the photo's on photobucket there is a option to change the photo to a forum size so it makes it nice and easy..and ill comment on your photo's when im back from collage  ;)

Danny,

While you do have fat to lose - its not like ur way off and will have trouble achieveing this! Saty positive and use this log as motivation to reach your goals. 2 suggestions I will make is have 50 grams of simple sugars post workout WITH your protein shake. Second do cardio twice daily, 1 pre breakfast, the other session after your workout - BEFORE your PWO shake. Do 35 mins per session, drink ATLEAST 4 litres water daily and thi should really help.

Diet still needs a lot of work though - some pointers for you:

More essential fats
More fibrous green veg
include protein and a small amout of complex carbe eash meal

just a quick update been eating really clean. training is going great doing cardio twice aday 45mins power walking first thing in the morning and after my training session feeling really good lost a inch off my gut!!! so my determanation is goin up!! and my stregnth is going up and up!!1 ;D ;D well pleased

hehe rock on mate. glad i can have an effect on others. Im saving my newest ones for end of march. Those were before xmas. Stay strong mate.. only you can do this and i fucking know you can mate!
