hi i am semena and im 5,8 a dress size 14 and i weigh 13 stones and 9 pounds exactly after i weighed my self today.i want to loose weight i should be in the healthy range of 11 stones i have tried low fat diet calorie controlled diet but seems not to work i have used fat burners with it but instead of loosing weight i lost inches last year and from a dress size 18 i went to a dress size 14 within 2 months.but again i lost no weight.
donno whats going on but can anyone advise me a best diet that will cut fat.
people have advised me to go on the low carb diet should i try it or not i am so desperate to loose this weight off
i do my running everyday in the morning on the treadmill keeping the incline to 6.5 for 30 minutes and 5 minutes in the start i warm up as well.
but seems its not working.
at the moment im having 3 toasts in the morning a fried egg and tea
afternoon its mixed veg with meat or rice mostly
and dinner sumtimes i wanna eat sumtimes dont but mostly end up having curry and naan bread again.curry is home made and have fruits in between
can anyone advise me on the low carb diet and can i loose weight and if i do whats the normal weight u can loose in a week i know everyone is different but still.

Well instead of "running" switch to power walking..that burns more fat.
If you want to stick to cardio.. do power walking first thing in the morning and then later on also.
Well avoid bread...switch to Oats..get in 50g in the morning with either scrambled eggs x3 , or poached eggs, some sort of good protein.
Then mid morning some fruit,mixed nuts
lunch..100g rice,tuna or 2 chicken breats or basicly 200g of meat. with veg!
around four have half a bagel with few (2-3) slices of meat. or replace bagel with more rice ( wholegrain).
tea is like lunch..protein,carb,veg..
before you go to sleep 30mins before have some slow fat cottage cheese .
Best thing to do is join the gym,weights then cardio

Carbohydrate cycling might be a good idea for dropping bodyfat.
One day high carbs, one day medium carbs and one day low to no carbs. Will try and post a copy of the
plan that i have followed and it does work.
But tank is right that joining a gym and doing weights is a good idea too, or just incorporating weights in
addition to what you are doing on the treadmill.
You want to try and eat something balanced every 2 - 3 and a half hours too. :)

but i wanted to start a low carb diet best if it was atkins diet can anyone please advise me on that what to eat in it and what not to eati have started the atkins diet today had 4 boiled eggs in the morning then had 2 pieces of fried chicken breast pieces with mushrooms and mayo will have again 2 pieces of chicken breast and 2 boiled eggs before i sleep. will this diet be ok for 2 weeks to loose weight in the atkins way
i will start power walking everyday from tommorow i did my walk on the trad mill keeping the incline to 4.5 for 20 mins.couldnt do more tthen
that today but will from tommorow.
so can anyone advise for a atkins diet menu or is mine ok at the moment.

Cardio 6 days a wek for 45 minutes brfore breakfast.
Drink 4 litres of pure water daily.
Eat 4-5 small balance meals - you know the difference between good food and junk food.
Eat several portions of green vegetables.
1 portion of oily fish each day.
Simple but effective - just be patient.

but i desperatly want to try the atkins diet for a quick weight loss.just wanted to ask regarding to the atkins am i eating right?

there is no quick way i'm afraid :'(, i dont think the atkins diet is a healthy way of dieting........ try carb cycling as i have found that pretty good

well i just want to loose it off as my brothers wedding is coming up. i dont mind it as my friend want on the atkins diet for 3 weeks and lost 18 pounds which was amazing i cant get in touch with her as she is on holiday thats why i asked for help on it from people on here .and low carb dont know if it work as fast as atkins or does it?

Atkins isnt the way forward..
The best soultion is the easy one.. join the gym and do weights then cardio. with the food plan i listed above. its all u need.
Working out is the best way to lose fat..why starve your self when you can eat 7 meals a day and workout and feel great at the end of the day?
forget atkins and lift some weights!! :)
if still confused what to do..ask away
